Ehrlichia

Nematomorphs feed on bacteria. Does this explain the necessity for colonization, forming one being, allowing them to be motile?

So the nematomorphs are fighting the bacteria; the bacteria are fighting back; and the white blood cells don't know which to attack. Neither wants to kill us. The only time our immune system seems to start fighting back is when one of them tries to take over more of our bodies. Is that the so-called "autoimmune" result? This person was told that he had been cured of Lyme disease, and that the pain was just an "autoimmune" response. Sorry, but no. He has bugs in his body.
